Pepsi IPL Tweet20 uses gamification to engage IPL fans

Pepsi has extended its Tweet20 property for the third year using gamification to get fans to play T20 via Twitter. All you have to do is sign in to Twitter and follow the @PEPSIINDIA handle.
You can select to play for your favourite IPL team, Pepsi will tweet you a ball and you can tweet a shot back. Select winners will get a chance to watch the game from the Pepsi VIP box. Not only that but two actual IPL teams will also be invited to play a Tweet20 match – further helping to draw in the cricket fan.
This year, IPL has had competition from the drama of the Indian elections for consumer mindshare; Pepsi has found an interesting way to keep its Tweet20 property creative and engaging:
