FTI Consulting appoints former Intel hand as tech advisor, public affairs, strategic communications

FTI Consulting, today announced the appointment of Valsa William­­s senior advisor, public affairs, strategic communications segment in India. She will be based in New Delhi.

Williams brings over 35 years of experience in public policy, government affairs and government projects in the technology sector. She will work with the public affairs team within the strategic communications segment to advise clients on public policy matters in the South Asia region.  A veteran technology policy consultant, Williams previously led the government affairs and public policy function for Intel in South Asia, specifically in India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

FTI Consulting also expanded its public affairs team in Mumbai, appointing Huda Inamdar as a director in the strategic communications segment. Inamdar brings almost a decade of experience, combining corporate communications, public affairs, financial communications and financial advisory (taxation) services. She returns to the company after studying for a masters’ degree in Global and Comparative Politics from the University of Essex, United Kingdom.
