PR Professionals bags the PR mandate for Akshaya Patra Foundation

Gurugram- headquartered PR Professionals has bagged the PR mandate for Akshay Patra Foundation, which runs the world's largest school lunch programme by an NGO. PR Professionals will be responsible for managing media and public relations for the foundation for its operations across India.

The Akshaya Patra Foundation, a non profit organisations, covers 1.6 million school-going children across 12 states in India. Set up in 2000, the foundations is an implementing partner of the Government of India's Mid-Day Meal Scheme. This has enabled Akshaya Patra's school lunch programme to grow from feeding 1,500 children in the year 2000 to over 1.6 million children in 2017.

They are working on media engagement and sensitization on WASH and Neonatal Mortality in Uttar Pradesh for UNICEF.  

PR Professionals has also been sensitizing parliamentarians on crucial issues. It has sensitized more than 200 MPs on the various child-related issue which played important role in shaping the child labour bill and the bill on tribal nutrition.
