PR Pundit handling Mandy Moore’s India visit for PSI

Adding a touch of  Hollywood stardust and attention to the much neglected topic of gender violence, actress and singer Mandy Moore, is here in India  to support PSI India’s Gender Based Violence (GBV) Programme Project Wajood. In between bites of Litti Chokha, Mandy Moore has drawn attention to the cause via Instagram and Twitter posts following her visits to UP and Bihar.

Moore, along with Indrani Goradia, philanthropist, women’s health & empowerment advocate, and founder of Indrani’s Light Mission, are special guests of PSI India is helping shine the the spotlight on the fundamental human right of all individuals to live a life free from violence.

Moore, known for roles in movies such as Saved, Tangled, A Walk to Remember and The Princess Diaries, joined PSI in 2008 as an Ambassador for its child survival programs, which provides children and their families with the education, products, services and care needed to improve their health and save lives in more than 30 countries around the world.  Mandy has attended Clinton Global Initiative University and became a Young Global Shaper for the World Economic Forum.
