Radhika Shapoorjee joins 1.4 billion dollar Hike as VP, communications

Radhika Shapoorjee, who has over 25 years of experience in PR and advertising, has joined the well regarded start-up Hike as vice president, communications. Shapoorjee confirmed the news during a call PRmoment India made to her to verify the story, expressing enthusiam and excitement to be working in a space that Hike operates in.
Hike, a messenger service promoted by Kavin Bharti Mittal is valued at US 1.4 billion dollars. It is widely considered a 'Unicorn' and has received praise for reaching this position in over 3 years of sustained growth. Hike is also one of the few unicorns that does not charge for the app service but has a user base of 100 million. It is also a rare India grown, successful messanger service.
This is Shapoorjee's first stint in corporate communications after over two decades in agency life.
