Tool Review: CRM app Prowly gets five stars

In the latest of our PRmoment Tool Reviews Marta Ostrowska rates Prowly.

Tool name and maker
Prowly, a SAAS platform for PR professionals made in Poland, but available for people all over the world.

What this tool does
Prowly is a CRM app for PR professionals who want to provide public relations and content marketing activities at the top level. The tool is divided into separate modules you can use independently or together. The story creator lets you create and publish modern and useful content on the web like press releases, articles or interviews. The brand journal combines all kinds of content platforms, for example, newsrooms, blogs or social media channels to then publish the content created in the Story Creator. The audience pitch is useful to keep and manage contacts, enable content distribution and analyse performance. The tool is being constantly updated. For example, the new GDPR manager primarily allows you to store consents for the personal data processing for your audience contacts database. You can also check the account’s performance thanks to the analytics module.

Price as reviewed
Pricing for Prowly depends on currency you pay in and plan you choose. For example, when you choose PRO plan and you pay in USD, pricing is 225 USD monthly (this doesn’t include VAT). This includes up to three users of the account, 2,500 subscribers monthly. When it comes to brand journal, you have custom domain and subdomain, up to five social media integrations, advanced analytics, subscription form, chat support and professional trainings amongst others.

You can have a seven-day free trial.

The test
For the test we used Prowly to create a social media press release about our Virtual Car 360 product.

What we asked this tool to do
Not only did we want to write about the Virtual Car 360, but we also wanted to add something interesting like a video about how it works, or a social media post about it. Thanks to the many modules and widgets Prowly provides, we could create a good press release. We divided the text into readable paragraphs adding a title, lead and subtitles. We also attached files with text and images and embedded a product video.

How it performed
The press release is well written. You can easily find the embedded video and choose what you want, either watch a video or read text.

Embedding the video is a piece of cake.

.

You can change the type (header, sub header, lead, quote, etc) easily and it’s very intuitive.

Attachments don’t clutter the mailbox, you can download them from the story.
