Weber Shandwick appoints Bianca Ghose as Managing Editor of Mediaco

Weber Shandwick has announced the recent appointment of Bianca Ghose as Managing Editor of Mediaco – the agency’s content creation and distribution unit.

Mediaco combines editorial planning and production, new technologies and paid media to support the creation of strategic content for brands and organisations.

Bianca Ghose will be based in New Delhi, where she will work closely with the Weber Shandwick digital team, as well as overseeing the content development for clients.

Ghose moves from NDTV Profit, where her role was as one of four daytime news presenters. Bianca has worked within a variety of markets including healthcare and technology. As well as also working for CNBC TV-18 and Thomson Reuters.

Rahul Sharma joins Rediffusion YR to head Public Relations

Rediffusion Y&R has announced the appointment of Rahul Sharma as President of Rediffusion Communications.

A former columnist and newspaper editor of Hindustan Times and Khaleej Times, Rahul is currently President of Public Affairs (India and South Asia) at Genesis Burson Marsteller. Rahul, who will be based in Mumbai, will be head of business at Rediffusion, and will be responsible for leading the Tata mandate.
 
“Rahul brings on board three decades of experience and expertise across India, Singapore, Hongkong and UAE in media, policy, regulatory and corporate issues, and political affairs. His experience and expertise will add value to our clients in public relations and public affairs,” said Diwan Arun Nanda, Chairman of Rediffusion Y&R Pvt Ltd.

Nikita Crasta moves to Leo Burnett India

Nikita Crasta has been appointed as Reputation Director within the PR team at Leo Burnett India.

She moves from MSLGROUP where she was Senior Account Manager and responsible for handling the communication mandate for renowned brands like the Marriott Group hotels in India, STAR India Pvt. Ltd., HISTORY TV18, NCPA, Network18 and Qyuki.com amongst others.

She was also involved in managing the reputation of MSLGROUP in India.

Her new role entails the reputation building of the Leo Burnett group including Orchard, Black Pencil, Indigo and Burnett.
