Gayatri Rath appointed as PR head for Microsoft India

Gayatri Rath has just been hired as the new Director of Corporate Communications and Citizenship for Microsoft. Gayatri has 18 years’ experience within PR and corporate communications and was Communications Leader for GE Capital for nearly 5 years.

Gayatri started her career as an Executive at India InfoMedia Private Limited in 1995. Among other jobs, she also worked as Director of Corporate Communications for South and South East Asia at Oracle.

Along with her wide range of employment, having worked for over 20 different companies, Gayatri has had experience in leading teams, advising senior management, training senior executives and leading internal and external corporate events.

In other news Aniisu K Verghese has just been appointed as India Corporate Communications Lead at TESCO HSC. Aniisu has a wide range of expertise including, an internal communication expert, career coach and author.

Aniisu has over thirteen years’ experience of developing the area of internal communications with leading IT, financial services and consulting organisations including Fidelity, Accenture and i-flex solutions. This involved coaching senior leadership, launching corporate intranets and leading internal brand campaigns.

Among his many talents, Aniisu also founded Friends for Life, a road safety NGO, is a visiting faculty at leading business schools in South India and is the author of ‘Internal Communications­­- Insights, Practices and Models'.
