Says Tanwar, “ Such events really make a difference for PR professionals, they get to know each other. I not only played for Media Mantra, but also played as the 11th player for Value 360!”
There were other prizes too, for the best tweets for example:

PRCAI Holds First Inter Consultancy Cricket Tournament In the Capital
Twelve teams from Adfactors PR, Avian Media, Edelman, Perfect Relations, The PRactice, Weber Shandwick, GBM, MSL Group, Media Mantra, Value 360, SPAG Asia and Text 100 vied for top honours. Value 360 went home with the trophy:
We are the champions! Team Value 360!
Edelman and GBM finished first and second runners-up respectively. Avian Media was the fourth semi-finalist
Nitin Mantri, the President of the PRCAI, said: “This is the first time that such a tournament has been held by the industry. Other than the fun element, the event gave young executives from different agencies a platform to interact with each other and forget about their competitive professional world. With Women’s Day round the corner, we made it mandatory to have four women players in each team. And, they played so well that we are planning to organise an all-women cricket tournament soon.”
PRCAI plans to take the tournament to other cities and the first stop will be Mumbai.
Udit Pathak, founder, Media Mantra said, “ I love cricket and I also wanted to support PRCAI in its initiative. In the last two months PRCAI has put in a lot of effort to connect the PR industry. There has been a CEO meet and a HR meet. And now the cricket tournament will be a regular affair.”
The cricket tournament was co-sponsored by Media Mantra, Godrej, Zizo, Coca-Cola and VLCC.
Suhail Mir, MSLGROUP, was the highest individual scorer at the Inter Consultancy Cricket Tournament
The event was coordinated by senior communications consultant, Anup Sharma.
