Abhinandan Saikia takes over at Hilton Worldwide as senior director communications & corporate affairs

Abhinandan Saikia, formerly with Adidas India as the head of the corporate communications and CSR function, has taken over as at Hilton Worldwide as senior director, corporate communications 
and corporate affairs in India.
With over 19 years of PR and corporate communications experience, Saikia has been roped in at Hilton at a time when the hotel major is bullish on India. HIlton Worldwide, plans to rollout 18 hotels by 2021 in fast growth markets such as Jaipur, Hyderabad, Shirdi and Goa.
A Shri Ram College of Commerce alumni, Saikia joined Adidas when the firm was emerging from the Reebok controversy. In 2012, Reebok India, owned by Adidas filed a criminal complaint againt its former MD and COO for fraud.
Now Saikia, will employ his considerable communications skills for Hilton as the company is setting its cap on being a major player in India's very competitive hospitality business.
