Air India has announced two strategic leadership appointments and changes.
Senjam Raj Sekhar has joined the airline as global head of communications, while Partha Ghosh has stepped into a new role as advisor to the CEO.
With over 25 years of experience across corporate communications, brand strategy, and reputation management, Sekhar brings deep expertise to Air India’s ongoing transformation. Prior to this, he led global communications at Mobile Premier League (MPL) and has held senior leadership roles at Flipkart, Vedanta Resources, Bharti Enterprises, and Samsung.
Commenting on his appointment, Senjam said that joining Air India during its ongoing transformation is both an honour and a responsibility, and he looks forward to strengthening stakeholder trust while shaping the airline’s evolving brand narrative.
Parth, who previously served as head of communications at Air India, will now work closely with the CEO and senior leadership team, advising on strategic initiatives as the airline continues its large-scale turnaround journey.
Sharing the update on LinkedIn, Ghosh said, “The last two years and eight months have been quite intense, given the scale and pace of the transformation. Despite the headwinds, the communications team stood resilient, working with media and stakeholders with honesty and conviction. I’m proud of where we are today and excited to continue contributing in my new role.”
These leadership changes underscore Air India’s commitment to strengthening its communications framework and leadership depth, as it accelerates its brand revival and transformation agenda.
