Amrit Anand has joined boAt Lifestyle as head of PR and communications, marking a new chapter in a communications career that spans corporate, startup, and consumer brand ecosystems.
Sharing the announcement on LinkedIn, Anand reflected on his decade-long journey in India’s startup landscape after transitioning from global organisations such as Walmart and Bank of America. Over the years, he has led communications mandates across some of India’s most prominent and category-defining companies, including ReNew, Paytm, and Zupee.
His experience spans IPO communications, regulatory and policy issues, crisis management, leadership positioning, reputation building, and category creation. Anand noted that these experiences reinforced his belief that communications is about much more than visibility—it is about building trust, credibility, and resilience.
At boAt Lifestyle, Amrit will lead the company’s public relations and communications function as the brand continues to strengthen its position in India’s consumer technology and lifestyle market.
Before joining boAt, Anand was associated with Zupee, where he played a key role in shaping the company’s communications strategy and narrative. In his announcement, he expressed gratitude to colleagues and leadership teams who were part of that journey.
