Amrit Raj, former national editor and corporate bureau chief, HT Mint and formerly with ByteDance, has joined manufacturing and global sourcing firm Zetwerk as director, brand and communications.
Raj has also written a bestseller business book “Indian Icon - A cult called Royal Enfield”, published by Amazon-Westland.
A postgraduate in English Journalism from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi Raj has also led government affairs efforts at Nissan Motor Company.
"Amrit Raj has rich and diverse experience across brand and communications acquired over 13 years in the fields of technology, automotive and media. At Zetwerk, Amrit will be responsible for highlighting the brand’s unique and disruptive capabilities in the manufacturing space aimed at building a self-reliant manufacturing eco-system in India,” said Amrit Acharya, co-founder & CEO, Zetwerk.
Prior to taking a plunge in corporate life, he worked as a journalist for over a decade, most of which were spent in shaping up the corporate news bureau for the Mint newspaper as its National Corporate Editor.
