Avian Media has won the mandate for one of the biggest PR accounts in the country- Deloitte India. Deloitte confirmed the development this week.
Nitin Mantri, CEO and business partner, Avian Media, said: “We are extremely pleased to be the partner of choice for Deloitte. This partnership is testament to the strength of our ideas and our ability to devise insight-driven creative campaigns that influence behaviour and drive change. It’s a privilege to be chosen as their preferred communications partner.”
Avian began work earlier this week on the annual contract with Deloitte.
Deloitte released RFPs for public relations firms in April 2017. At that time, Deloitte's work was handled by Integral PR, the move for RFPs took place after the exit of Sharif Rangnekar as chairman and CEO of Integral in January 2017. It is believed that Avian won the final round over Weber Shandwick India during a multi-agency pitching process.
This marquee win for Avian comes close on the heels of the PR firm getting the PR mandate for aircraft engine giant, Pratt and Whitney India.
Avian Media is one of the few, leading independent and home grown PR firms in India, along with Adfactors PR. Avian has seen strong growth over the last decade.
