Boby Kurian, former national corporate editor, TOI joins Adfactors PR, will offer high level strategic counsel

Boby Kurian, the former national corporate editor of The Times of India, has joined Adfactors PR as senior vice-president, Strategic Communications Group (SCG). He will be based out of the firm’s Bengaluru office.

Kurian's national role will focus on delivering C-suite counsel and engagements ranging from broader corporate reputation issues, CEO positioning and thought leadership. This reflects Adfactors PR’s increasing board-level commitments to clients.

 Kurian has two decades of experience in business journalism, reporting on some of India's biggest corporate events and business personalities. In his nine years with The Times of India, he wrote extensively on the post-boom years of corporate distress, economic recovery and the debt era. He was responsible for bringing start-up and private equity into mainstream reporting and has been an active commentator on social and political issues.

Kurian has held senior editorial positions at several leading media institutions, including VCCircle, India's first digital publication on the investment economy, The Economic

Times, and The Hindu Business Linebureaus in Bengaluru.
