Coca-Cola India Announces Change in its Communications Team
Coca-Cola India today announced a change in its communications team with Arpan Basu leading the INSWA Business Unit (BU) Communications. Prior to his new role he was involved working on company and category communication for the Business Unit. Based out of Gurugram, Arpan will report to Ishteyaque Amjad, vice-president, public affairs and communication, Coca-Cola India and Southwest Asia.
Arpan Basu will take on the new role from Kamlesh Kumar Sharma who has been recently moved to Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages as a chief communications officer after having served as director, Corporate Communications and Alliances, at Coca-Cola India Pvt Ltd.
Ishteyaque Amjad, Vice-President, public affairs and communication, Coca-Cola India and Southwest Asia said, “Arpan has been entrusted with the responsibility of shaping company’s narrative and reputation, both internally and externally. He is taking on the responsibility of enhancing Coca-Cola India’s brand reputation at a phase where company is undergoing a transformation. With work experience spanning 15 years, Arpan has been instrumental in driving public relations campaigns for brands such as Max Life Insurance and Jubilant Life Sciences Ltd prior to joining Coca-Cola.
