Deepa Sapatnekar former head of consumer PR for APAC at Linkedin, joins Bessemer Venture Partners as their head of marketing.
Bessemer Venture Partners is an American venture capital firm. The firm invests globally, with offices in San Francisco, Redwood City, New York City, Boston, Israel, India, and London
Sapatnekar will be based in Bengaluru and started work on the 7th of April. She has previously worked in various APAC markets, including Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Korea and also in the Middle East and North Africa.
Sapatnekar is a seasoned brand, social impact and marketing professional. During her decade long innings at LinkedIn she also served as board member for two years at the LinkedIn for Good foundation.
She headed marketing and communications for 2.5 years for Network Solutions (an IBM company) in 2008.
Sapatnekar has an MBA from the top rated University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
