Deepti Shetty steps into senior role as head of APAC communications at BASF

BASF announced that Deepti Shetty has stepped into an expanded leadership role as head of Asia Pacific (APAC) communications, marking the next chapter in her ongoing journey with the company.

With more than seven years at BASF, Deepti’s career reflects a path shaped by growth, learning, and evolving responsibility. These formative years helped define her approach to building authentic engagement, listening deeply to stakeholders, and crafting narratives that matter.

Effective February 1, Deepti now leads the APAC Communications function, overseeing a team of 26 colleagues across 12 countries. In this senior role, she will continue to drive strategic communications that support BASF’s business priorities while fostering collaboration across the region.

This move underscores BASF’s commitment to developing internal talent and enabling leaders to grow within the organization, while strengthening its communications leadership across Asia Pacific.
