Seasoned corporate communications professional, Dimple Kapur, joined Piramal Group as their corporate communications head last week. Kapur has worked as the regional PR & communications lead for Qualcomm 
Piramal Group is one of the leading diversified business groups in India lead by its chairman, the billionaire Ajay Piramal. The group owns firms such as the healthcare major Piramal Healthcare and also has interests in finance and realty. Piramal Realty is a privately held firm run by Anand Piramal; Warburg Pincus and Goldman Sachs have invested 434 million dollars in Piramal Realty.
Kapur, who started out with agencies such as The PRactice - Porter Novelli, Genesis PR and Corporate Voice Shandwick, has also been a state level basketball player.
