Edelman announces two new senior appointments

Edelman India recently announced the addition of two new team members.

Bhavna Jagtiani re-joins Edelman India as Director – West – after spending 2 years co-leading the consumer practice in the Hong Kong office.

Bhavna, who has worked within Edelman for a period of over ten years, will now be responsible for managing and growing the business in West India, including offices in Mumbai, Pune and Ahmedabad.

The new Director will report to Rakesh Thukral, Chief Operating Officer, Edelman India.

The second appointment is Bonny Lawrie in a newly created role – Deputy General Manager of the Delhi NCR office. Bonny brings with her more than 11 years’ experience in communications and marketing. Previous roles include Director of Edelman Qatar and Marketing and PR Consultant in Media Publikum.

Bonny, who will be based in New Delhi, will lead some of Edelman’s largest clients, including Microsoft and Shell.

Bhavna’s return to Edelman India will provide further impetus to our West operations; and Bonny’s experience will contribute to further expansion of our fastest growing office in India.”
