Edelman India has been appointed to handle the PR mandate for Airbnb in India.
Starting this month, Edelman India will manage an integrated communications mandate comprising both brand and corporate communications for Airbnb. The firm is an online aggregator connecting people with homestays across the world.
Commenting on the appointment, Simran Kodesia, communications lead, Airbnb India, said, “As one of the world’s largest marketplace brands known for innovative communications, we were looking for a partner that could bring new ideas to further evolve our story with creativity and authenticity, to deliver maximum earned conversation around our offerings. Airbnb recently announced its collaboration with Sahapedia for its third edition of the multi-city( over 40 cities), India Heritage Walk Festival (IHWF) - an initiative focussed on celebrating India’s diverse cultural heritage with a focus on making it accessible to all. Airbnb has joined hands with Sahapedia and UNESCO as the festival''s responsible tourism partner for this edition.
