GCI Health, a global healthcare communications agency, has announced that Kath Harrison has been named to the newly created position of president, International Markets, focused on Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and new growth markets.
Rikki Jones, president, Asia-Pacific, will be leaving GCI Health in July to take on a new opportunity.
Additionally, Eddie Morton has joined the agency as regional managing director, AsiaPacific. Morton will support Harrison in driving the agency’s growth and operations across the region, working closely with country leads and regional specialists to deepen GCI Health’s integrated offering across communications, public affairs and medical strategy.
Harrison, formerly president, EMEA, has been the driving force behind GCI Health’s rapid expansion in Europe and the Middle East, having relocated to Dubai in 2024. .

Based in Singapore, Morton brings over a decade of experience in health communications and public affairs across Asia-Pacific. He joins from Sandpiper Health, where he co-led the firm’s regional health business and advised clients on stakeholder engagement, policy strategy and reputation management. Morton began his career in journalism before leading government relations and policy for Members Health, the advocacy body for Australia’s not-for-profit health insurers. He then moved into consultancy, where he has since helped healthcare and life sciences organisations strengthen their voice and influence across the region.
