Rikki Jones, president, GCI Health Asia-Pacific and CEO, Burson Group Singapore, is moving to AstraZeneca.

She joins the pharma major and maker of Covishield vaccine developed in partnership with Oxford University, as the head of communications, International & EUCAN. In India, the Covishield vaccine was manufactured by the Serum Institute of India.

Jones announced her move via a LinkedIn post on Tuesday. She will be based in Dubai.

Jones has spent most of her 20+ years in communications as a health comms expert. An experienced corporate affairs and consultancy leader she has led businesses through start-up phases, turn-arounds, and mergers.
