Himanshu Raj moves to Mobile Premier League to head global communications, includes branding and creative

Himanshu Raj, who was previously handling global communications at team chat app Flock and was also the India PR lead for digital payments firm Zeta; has joined gaming firm Mobile Premier League ( MPP)today.
Raj confirmed to PRmoment India that he will be handling global communications including brand communication, social and creative, He will continue to be based in Bengaluru and will report to Abhishek Madhavan, vice president, growth and marketing at Mobile Premier League (MPL).
Founded in 2018, MPL is India’s largest mobile gaming and esports platform. It has grown to over 50 million registered users and currently has over 40 games, including titles like FreeFire and World Cricket Championship. MPL also has multiple gaming studios and developers as partners to publish their games on its platform. The company was founded by Sai Srinivas and Shubh Malhotra, who earlier co-founded Creo, a mobile phone startup that was acquired. MPL is currently present in India and Indonesia, with offices in Bengaluru, Jakarta, and Pune, and with a personnel strength of over 300.
