International Solar Alliance issues RFP for global solar advocacy , last date October 25th, 2021

The International Solar Alliance (ISA) a coalition of 96 nation signatories to the ISA Framework Agreement has issued a RFP for support to the ISA Secretariat for global solar advocacy. The RFP has been issued in India.
The last date for submitting the proposal is 25th October, 2021. As per the RFP, firms should have the necessary similar experience, technical expertise, production capacity where applicable, quality certifications, quality assurance procedures and other resources applicable to the provision of the services as required. Firms applying are also expected to have experience in working in ISA focus countries.
ISA is committed to mobilising investments of more than USD 1000 billion by 2030.
It has has been conceived as an action-oriented, member-driven, collaborative platform for increased deployment of solar energy technologies to enhance energy security and sustainable development, and to improve access to energy in developing member countries.
ISA will not duplicate or replicate the efforts that others (like International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership (REEEP), International Energy Agency (IEA), Renewable Energy Policy Network for the 21st Century (REN21), United Nations bodies, bilateral organizations etc.) are currently engaged in, but will establish networks and develop synergies with them and supplement their efforts in a sustainable and focused manner.
