With digital media, the space for long-form journalism has been shrinking. The widely held belief is that long-form content doesn't work for the social media native audience.
However, with AI search favouring authentic, earned media content, there is space for long-form journalism. And fintech journalist Arti Singh is tapping this space with her focus on investigative, long-form journalism focused on fintech with the launch of 'The Head and Tale'.
Says Singh, "In a media landscape often dominated by press releases and superficial headlines, The Head and Tale offers a new model of journalism focused on in-depth research, ground reporting, and holding powerful institutions accountable."
The Head and Tale joins the growing list of digital platforms offering subscriber-based journalism. These include the massive ET Prime, a members-only business storytelling platform from 'The Economic Times', 'The Ken', 'News Laundry' and 'The Morning Context'.
