Leah Jena is taking on a new region at Tech Mahindra. She began as senior communications specialist for the India market and then transitioned to lead Asia Pacific and Japan in addition. Jena has now moved to lead the UK & Middle East region.
She will continue to oversee the fourth season of Tech Mahindra's marquee property, the Global Chess League, in Bengaluru next month. Global chess superstars such as Vishwanathan Anand, Gukesh Dommaraju, Magnus Carlsen,Praggnandhaa, Harika Dronavalli
Koneru Humpy have played in previous seasons.
It's the latest step in a communications career that's been building steadily for close to five years at the company. At Tech Mahindra, she's risen from business associate through to associate manager and, most recently, APJ lead for corporate communications, along the way representing the company's marketing function on investor earnings calls and speaking at industry platforms including XIM Bhubaneswar and moderated all the seasons of Tech Mahindra’s Global Chess League.
