Madan Bahal is inducted into the ICCO Hall of Fame

I was delighted to attend the ICCO Awards in London last week where Madan Bahal was inducted into the ICCO Hall of Fame.

Madan founded Adfactors 20 years ago alongside Rajesh Chaturvedi. Adfactors remains an independant company and is by far India’s largest PR firm.

Bahal has put huge amounts of energy into creating a culture of learning and client service at Adfactors that has underpinned its growth.

What is less acknowledged is Adfactor’s support of the PR community in India - from PRAXIS, to The PRCAI Sabre Awards to our own PRmoment events. Adfactors, lead by Bahal, has been a strong supporter of PR education and the professionalisation of public relations in India.

This has helped create a solid foundation of work and a robust PR community in India.

PRmoment India editor Paarul Chand recently interviewed Bahal on his 20 years at Adfactors and here is an interview with Madan on the night:

Inducted into The ICCO Hall of Fame alongside Madan were Francis Ingham, Chief Executive, ICCO, Christopher Graves, President, Ogilvy Center for Behavioural Science, Maxim Behar, CEO, M3 Communications Group and Renate Skoff, Co-Founder, The Skills Group.
