Nissan Motor Corporation has put in place an integrated global network of communications, reporting in to its chief communications officer, Lavanya Wadgaonkar.
Announcing the change earlier today, Wadgaonkar commented, "This shift reflects how communication now needs to operate, connected, coordinated, and built around people rather than silos. Our new integrated model dissolves boundaries that once limited collaboration, replacing them with a flexible ecosystem that responds to the rhythm of culture and technology. A strategist in Tokyo shaping ideas alongside a designer in India and a storyteller in Paris, all contributing to a single narrative in real time, is no longer an aspiration but a reality made possible by the commitment of our teams and the support of our business leaders who champion this change."
She concluded saying, "If talent is global and content is borderless, our structures cannot remain confined. The future belongs to organizations that dismantle tradition, embrace flexibility, and invest in networks rather than silos. Nissan Global Communications is shaping that future, made possible by the people who bring it to life and the leaders whose vision turns ambition into action."
