Pallavi Walia, formerly handling policy communications for Twitter has now taken over as head of communications for Twitter India.
The news came via an announcement on Twitter by Lauren Myers Cavanagh, head - APAC Communications at Twitter.

Walia has nearly 20 years of experience in PR and corporate communications and has worked with Creation, Edelman and Perfect Relations in the past.

According to Talkwalker, Twitter has 7.75 users in India . The top Twitter influencers in India are dominated by politicians ( Narendra Modi at No. 1), followed by cricket and cricketers. Virat Kohli is at No. 5.
