Pallavi Walia, formerly VP-communications with Vodafone has joined Microsoft, as director of communications, in India & South Asia, Microsoft. Walia announced her new role via LinkedIn.
Microsoft is at an interesting juncture with its backing for AI and cloud computing In February this year, Microsoft briefly crossed the 3 trillion market value milestone, making it the world's most valuable country ahead of Apple.
Walia has also been head of communications at Twitter.
