Pooja Thakran Joins Honeywell to Lead India and HTS Communications

Pooja Thakran has joined Honeywell to serve as senior director, communications, in a combined role supporting both Honeywell India and Honeywell Technology Solutions (HTS).

Thakran will report to Mike Bennett, vice president, communications and also report  to Akshay Bellare, president, Honeywell India and Sam Pratap, president, HTS.

Commenting on development, Mike Bennett, Honeywell vice president, communications said, "A seasoned communications professional, Pooja brings experience in a broad range of related disciplines across multiple companies to her new assignment. Along with her team, Pooja will look to engage employees and recruit leading talent, promote Honeywell’s technologies and transformation outside the company, and continue to serve our communities through meaningful programs that foster STEM education, diversity and opportunity, and employee volunteerism.”

She will be based in Bengaluru, India and will serve on the 'Communications Leadership Council'. Thakran's  broad responsibilities include driving innovative communications strategies and programs in support of both organizations’ objectives.

Most recently, she served as director, corporate communications, for Boehringer Ingelheim, one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies, where she implemented strategies to promote the company’s reputation and build its brand. She also created and executed go-to-market strategies for two therapeutic areas.
