PR Professionals handles mandate for key conference by the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification

PR Professionals has won the PR mandate for the ongoing fourteenth session of the 'Conference of Parties' (COP14), to United Nations to Combat Desertification (UNCCD); as its formally called.

 PR Professionals will be the strategic counsel for COP14 and manage its reputation internationally.

The conference was addressed by Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, who has focused on water safety for households after winning the national mandate in May 2019.

"When we address degraded lands, we also address water scarcity. Augmenting water supply, enhancing water recharge, slowing down water run-off and retaining moisture in the soil are all parts of a holistic land and water strategy," PM Modi said.

Over 5,000 participants from 196 countries will take part in the event. Ministers from 95 countries, scientists, representatives of national and local government and NGOs will share their expertise at the conference.
