PRaxis Media bags PR mandate for Dada Saheb Phalke Excellence Awards 2018

PRaxis Media, an integrated communications consultancy, has bagged the PR mandate for the Dada Saheb Phalke Excellence Awards for 2018.  Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Awards has partnered with Smile Foundation to present the film awards for the second year in a row, this has nothing to do with the National Dada Saheb Phalke Awards. The awards recognize achievements in Indian cinema, while also supporting the cause of girl child empowerment through Smile Foundation’s, 'She Can Fly' initiative. Besides honouring individuals for their exceptional performances and contribution to Indian cinema, the awards, in association with Smile Foundation’s,  She Can Fly initiative, will also focus on bringing attention to the pay gaps that affect women in the industry. 

Actors including Anushka Sharma, Shilpa Shetty, Ranveer Singh, Karan Johar, Aditi Rao Haidri, Kriti Sanon, Rani Mukherjee are some of the nominees of the Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Awards, 2018. 

“We have been working with PRaxis for many years for Smile Foundation and they were our PR partners for Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Awards last year too. Their team is very dedicated and result oriented and we are happy to collaborate with them yet again”, shared Manisha Singh, national manager, Smile Foundation.

Smile Foundation is clearly seeking high profile events to raise its' visibility. Along with the film awards, Smile Foundation has also tied up with IPL team, Kolkata Knight Riders for a health awareness camp.
