April 21, New Delhi: As the country battles through the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, Public Relations Consultants Association of India (PRCAI) launched the
‘#ItStartsWithYou’ campaign to highlight the importance of being responsible and collectively fighting against Covid-19.
Taking simple measures of social distancing, masking up and staying indoors at a time like this, can go a long way in controlling the spread of the virus. The second wave has made it necessary to revisit and reapply Covid management strategies and strictly follow guidelines.
Stressing on the fact that it important for all Indians to come together to fight the pandemic, PRCAI also welcomes the Government of India’s announcement to open the vaccine to all age groups above 18 years. This step will play a fundamental role in controlling the spread of the virus.
Sharing his thoughts on the initiative, Atul Sharma, President, PRCAI, said, “The government has taken a positive step and we need to do our bit by following the protocols and getting vaccinated to end this together. With the #ItStartsWithYou initiative, we at PRCAI want to encourage every citizen to fight the good fight. If we each abide by the Covid-19 norms, that itself is a step towards ushering in normalcy."
The #ItStartsWithYou campaign aims to spread awareness through personalised and simple messages around being responsible for yourself and the surroundings, taking protocols seriously and encouraging vaccination.
