The Prince Albert Police Service, Canada, has appointed Deepan Dasgupta as its public relations and media lead.
Deepan's career as a content and communication specialist spans over two decades, during which he has worked in various geographies and sectors, including IT & ITeS, agritech, alternative energy, healthcare, government, defence, entertainment & internal security. He has worked with clients and on mandates across North America, the Middle East and Asia.
Prince Albert Police chief Patrick Nogier said; “As the Interim chief of police for the Prince Albert Police Service, I want to emphasise the importance of transparent and effective communication with the community we serve. Mr Dasgupta’s role and expertise will help bridge the gap between our service and the public, ensuring we maintain trust and understanding.”
On his appointment, Deepan said: "It’s an honour to be part of the Prince Albert Police Service, particularly during these transitional times. The opportunity to serve as the 'Gateway to the North’s' diverse community significantly adds to my quest for learning. Effective communication is vital in maintaining peace along with faith, and I hope to contribute to the City Police’s renewed vigour in building bridges of mutual trust and understanding with our stakeholders."
