Retail major Target appoints Melissa Arulappan as director of communications for India

An American big-box departmental store chain, Target, has appointed Melissa Arulappan as their director of communications for India.
In a LinkedIn post, Arulappan explained her reasons for leaving the healthcare industry and joining the retail major Target.
Arulappan spent 11 years as the head of communications at health major IQVIA. She has also worked with Corporate Voice/Weber Shandwick for 18 years.
She has a masters in medical and psychiatric social work from the prestigious Tata Institute of Social Sciences.
