Sandipan Ghatak is now head of communications and public affairs- consumer health India, Johnson & Johnson.
Announcing his move on LinkedIn today Ghatak said, "Signing off from PepsiCo after a memorable and super amazing 9.5 years. I am grateful for having had the opportunity of working with diverse teams across Africa, Middle East & South Asia in my last role at the AMESA Comms Centre of Excellence for internal, external communications."
Johnson & Johnson is the manufacturer of a Covid-19 one shot vaccine 'Janssen'. However, according to news reports today the firm has withdrawn its proposal seeking accelerated approval of its vaccine in India.
The firm has approval for emergency use in the US from the FDA. Recently, US health regulators added rare side effect warning for the vaccine called the Gillian-Barre syndrome.
