NEW YORK, September 16, 2025 – GCI Health, a leading global health impact agency, today announced that Ravi Moorthy has joined the organisation as MD, global corporate lead. Moorthy brings extensive experience in corporate communications from both in-house and agency roles across the U.S., Europe and the Middle East, spanning the healthcare, technology, financial services and professional services sectors.
“There has never been a more pivotal time for healthcare organisations to elevate their corporate reputation, shape executive visibility and engage employees in meaningful ways,” said Kristin Cahill, Global CEO, GCI Health. “Ravi brings global and cross-sector experience in shaping corporate communications that our clients need to create impact in today’s complex environment.”
Moorthy joins GCI Health from Scorpion Therapeutics, an AI-powered biotechnology company, where he served as VP, head of communications. Before that, Moorthy was MD, corporate and public affairs, at Edelman, where he grew the Bay Area team and served as senior lead for several multinational companies. He also worked at Mubadala, a sovereign investment company responsible for building a modern healthcare infrastructure in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), where he built and protected the company’s reputation through holistic communications strategies in both the UAE and international markets.
“The opportunity for strategic communications counsellors to protect and promote their clients’ corporate reputations and clearly demonstrate value to all stakeholders has never been greater,” said Moorthy. “It’s an exciting time to be working in the ever-broadening healthcare ecosystem, and there’s no better place to do that than GCI Health, with its strong brand, impressive client roster and deep professional expertise. I’m keen to partner with the team and expand on the excellent work already underway and continue building this iconic healthcare agency.”
This comes on the heels of GCI Health unveiling a refreshed brand identity that positions it as a health impact agency built to help clients realise the future of healthcare.
