Shashikant Someshwar is quitting Perfect Relations

After the exit of Perfect Relation's CEO, Valerie Pinto, Shashikant Someshwar, VP-Operations is quitting the firm by 31st December. Shahsikant has spent 14 years in Perfect Relations in varied roles that include brand building, digital and operations.

During his stint at Perfect Relations, he has handled campaigns for clients like Marico, Philips, Godrej, Shoppers’ Stop, MTV Networks, Diageo India, Fiat India, Nissan India, Skoda, Auto, Daimler Chrysler, NBA, Emirates (airline), and BBC Worldwide.

After Valerie's exit, Shashikant was tipped to take over her role, but Perfect Relations founders Dilip Cherian and Bobby Kewalramani took over the operational responsibility instead as hands on CEOs.

Perfect Relations, one of the leading home grown consultancies in PR, has now seen two high profile exits in the last two months against the backdrop of ongoing talks for the sale of the company. In September, Bobby Kewalramani had told PRmoment India they were in talks with various networks for a possible partnership. At that time, Bobby told PRmoment India that, “Many networks are talking to us. We haven’t got into bed with anyone yet, we are still evaluating their offers.”

Market sources say that the deal with MSL has more or less been closed with advisories already on their way to clients.
