Sumedha Chatterjee has joined as associate director - marketing at AiRO Digital Labs. She was previously the head- marketing for BMJ in the South Asian region.
AiRo Digital Labs is a Chicago headquartered global tech company, focused on digital convergence with enterprise systems with clients primarily in healthcare, pharma, and life sciences industries. AiRo's digital competencies span robotic process automation, AI -ML capabilities, voice, NLP, cloud, analytics and IoT.
With over 12 years of experience in the consumer marketing space, Sumedha has led marketing for brands in the EdTech and HealthTech space. At BMJ, she was responsible for the conduct of the BMJ Awards South Asia, widely acknowledged as the Oscars of Medicine in South Asia. She also led the digital education division for BMJ in South Asia, which focused on direct to consumer education for healthcare professionals.
With global healthcare spending expected to rise at a CAGR of 5 percent in 2019-23, the sector is bound to move into its next orbit of digitization 2.0, already accelerated by COVID-19. As emerging tech becomes mainstream, organizations will be looking to support the healthcare industry’s ongoing transition to value led processes, including patient experience and consumer choice.
