Valerie Pinto, who took over as CEO of Perfect Relations in 2010, has quit the PR consultancy firm. Valerie, who is a Perfect Relations veteran of 16 years is moving on to consult with food businesses in India.
The frontrunner being talked about as her replacement is Shashikant Someshwar, VP-Operations, who has handled campaigns for clients like Marico, Philips, Godrej, Shoppers’ Stop, MTV Networks, Diageo India, Fiat India, Nissan India, Skoda, Auto, Daimler Chrysler, NBA, Emirates (airline), and BBC Worldwide.
However, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Perfect Relations Group, Bobby Kewalramani, told PRmoment India that, “There is no such decision yet. Valerie is leaving that’s for sure, but we haven’t made a decision about the replacement yet.”
These developments take place against the backdrop of months of market rumours of a possible sale of Perfect Relations. Among the suitors mentioned have been MSL Group and WPP owned PPR group.
