Varghese Thomas moves on from TVS Motor Company

Varghese M Thomas, head of global corporate communication and senior vice president at the TVS Motor Company is moving on from the auto major.

Speaking to PRmoment India Thomas stated, "After seven fruitful years I have decided to take a break. I would like to thank the TVS Motor Company for the wonderful opportunity and support they have bestowed on me. I have been fortunate to receive various accolades and recognitions from the communications fraternity during this period. I was blessed with a great team and together we were able to conceive and implement many successful PR programs which have become a benchmark in the industry."

Thomas joined the firm in 2015 and reported directly to the President and CEO. 

He is currently on garden leave and will start examining opportunities in a few months.

Thomas was earlier, director of corporate communications, in India and the greater China region for Blackberry and has also worked with Cisco and Intel. At that time it was rare to have communications being handled for Greater China from India.

At Cisco, Thomas was vice president - of corporate communications - Globalisation Center East, India & SAARC.
