Singapore, 30 September 2025 – Weber Shandwick, today announced the promotion of Shashikanth Someshwar to CEO of Weber Shandwick India, effective October 1. He replaces Valerie Pinto, who is moving to APCO India as MD and executive director of corporate, Asia
There is a team of over 150 people across Mumbai, Gurgaon, and Bengaluru.

Someshwar has held leadership roles across corporate and consumer practices before stepping in as interim Managing Director of India earlier this year. Working closely with the senior leadership team, he has been instrumental in driving growth, providing strategic counsel to clients, and building teams aligned with the evolving needs of the market.
