WICCI PR & Digital Marketing Council is proud to announce its latest offering - ‘I Lead Mentoring Program 2021’, to bridge mentoring gaps in the communications industry. This initiative is in line with the council’s long-term goal of addressing women employees dropping off the leadership ladder through structured and supportive mentoring. 

Commenting on the launch of the program, Kavita Lakhani, national president, WICCI Public Relations & Digital Marketing Council and director operations, Weber Shandwick, says, “Good mentorship is particularly important for aspiring women leaders in today’s challenging environment, where uncertainty and complexity, are increasing. If you need help setting and achieving goals, mentors are the perfect allies to give you practical advice and keep you accountable."

Created exclusively for mid and senior level women professionals, the program is inviting applications from women with minimum experience of 8 years and a maximum of 15 years in PR, digital, advertising, journalism, corporate affairs, content and corporate communications sectors.

Each batch will comprise of a focused cohort of 20 participants who will be selected through a rigorous screening process. The first batch of the ‘I Lead Mentoring Program 2021’ will commence in Sep 2021.

The ‘I Lead Mentoring Program 2021’ is structured to help mentees further their career by setting new goals and providing clarity on how to take action. Specialist mentors will offer mentees constructive criticism designed to strengthen their professional areas and soft skills that need improvement.
