Yasmin Taj takes over as Editor - ET HR International and Head of Branded Content at 'The Economic Times'

Yasmin Taj has moved back to the Bennett Coleman Group as editor – ET HR International and head – branded content. In this role she will be leading the editorial expansion for the HR vertical (ET HRWorld.com) of The Economic Times into different geographies. She would also be spearheading the branded content for the vertical in her new role. She will play a critical role in creating the content strategy for the brand as it forays into newer markets.

Talking about her new journey, she says, “I feel immensely proud to be back at The Times Group from where I started my editorial journey years ago. This homecoming could not have been at a more opportune time. Times Internet is growing exponentially and I hope I will able to add to this success story, especially to the HR vertical which is now at the centre of all the transformation that is happening across the globe. Super excited for this new adventure and a new phase in my life!”

Taj comes with extensive experience in the media space, both print and digital. In her last role, she was the managing editor for People Matters, a niche media house in the arena of people and work. She has had the longest stint of 11 years with The Times of India Group, where she had the opportunity to lead several editorial sections like Times Ascent.
