Skype discovers new music artists with its ‘The Ones to Watch’ campaign

Skype is currently running a very interesting campaign called ‘The Ones to Watch’ in the US. New music artists are connected with their fans via Skype, creating, what they call, Skype moments.
This is a smart way of communicating the brand’s video group chat features with a young audience.

Given the Indians love for music, this is a campaign that will also work very well for India. Music talent shows such as Indian Idol and Sa Re Ga Ma have been successful in India as have been Coca Cola’s brand extension through music with Coke Studio.
