IAN funded Wizikey launches Wizikey Local for media engagement in Tier 2 and 3 cities

IAN backed startup, Wizikey.com has launched Wizikey Local, for corporates and brands to reach out to consumers in tier 2 and tier 3 towns of India via the editorial press.

The press release issued today says that Wizikey Local covers 50 cities in India. From Imphal to Surat and Srinagar to Coimbatore, India has more than 600 publications (tabulated by the Indian Readership Survey).

Anshul Sushil, CEO, Wizikey said, “Local print media has been the most authentic source of information for Indians across India. A lot of Indian brands and SMEs are today building and innovating to help Indians in these times of crisis and uncertainty. It is, therefore, fair that businesses, large or small, should have access to local press. Thus Wizikey Local was a natural progression for us. We aim to standardise and increase access to 100 cities within three months."

“Wizikey Local unlocks an opportunity for businesses to do local press, across state borders. It expands press reach out to regional cities and I cannot think of a better time than now when I see that Indian startups are building for Bharat,” said Alok Mittal, founder, Indifi and lead investor from IAN in Wizikey.
