Seema Ahuja, formerly global head of corporate brand & communications at Biocon Biologics, has transitioned to a new strategic communication role as senior VP and head of communications & brand, chairperson’s office, Biocon Group.

In her new role at Biocon Group, Seema will be responsible for overall reputation management of 'Brand Kiran' and 'Brand Biocon Group'. Additionally, she will also steer special projects for the chairperson’s Office.

Seema will continue to oversee key external communication initiatives, including the media outreach, social media, digital media, and the Biocon Experience Centre for Biocon Group. She will work closely with all the corporate communications heads across group companies to foster consistency in strengthening the voice of the Biocon Group brand.

With over 35 years of industry experience, Seema began her career in hospitality in 1989 before transitioning to pharma & life sciences communications in 1996. She has held senior leadership roles at Ranbaxy, Lupin, and the Jubilant Bhartia Group, and joined Biocon in 2011.
