Edition 4: PRmoment India RiseUp PR
The fourth edition of RiseUp PR is set to begin with 9 national colleges competing for the top spot.
"What started out as an unique initiative to create an opportunity for young communication aspirants to get a first hand feel of the nuances of corporate PR, Rise Up PR is now ready to roll out it's 4th edition which just endorses the tremendous validation from academia, PR industry veterans, PR Professionals who come on board as mentors, all of them are equal stakeholders in raising the bar for the next generation of PR pros", said Moushumi Dutt, RiseUp PR Programme Director.
The RiseUp Process
This unique initiative enables learning for PR students through a case study competition. The aim is two-fold: to help expose PR students to a process that takes them through the latest thinking about communications and bring talent from beyond the main metros to mainstream attention.
9 three-member teams from colleges with communication programmes across the country will take part, up from 6 in 2024.
Grand Prize: Top 3 RiseUp teams receive cash prizes of Rs. 55,000, per team, Rs. 30,000, per team and Rs. 15,000 per team, respectively.

Sound bridge between academia and industry

Central to the RiseUp PR is a two part process where each team is mentored by a leading communications professional and a separate judges panel evaluates the teams during a live online pitch. A high profile judged panel drawn from leading brands such as Nestle, GE Aerospace and Lenovo as well as top PR firms such as Kaizzen, PR Professionals Zeno, Astrum and 80dB Communications are on the mentoring and judging panel.
